Last updated: 15 July 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how AILearnPath Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202984731M), a general AI learning academy registered in Singapore with its office at 88 Telok Ayer Street, #12-03, Singapore 048469, uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website ailearnpath.pro. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more broadly under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
When you first visit our website, a cookie banner allows you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies or customise your preferences by category. Your choices are stored for six (6) months in a first-party consent cookie and can be changed at any time using the methods described in Section 6 below.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences and provide information to site owners. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixel tags and server-side tags — we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy where the effect is comparable.
Cookies may be "first-party" (set by AILearnPath) or "third-party" (set by external services such as analytics providers). They may also be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remaining on your device for a defined period).
3. Cookie categories we use
We classify cookies into three categories. Essential cookies are always active; analytics and functional cookies are deployed only with your consent.
3.1 Essential cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as setting privacy preferences, submitting contact forms or maintaining session security. Without these cookies, services you have requested cannot be provided.
- alp_cookie_consent — First-party cookie storing your cookie consent choice (essential, all or customised). Vendor: AILearnPath. Duration: 180 days (six months).
- Session identifiers — Temporary cookies maintaining form state and security tokens during your browsing session. Vendor: AILearnPath. Duration: Session (deleted when browser closes).
- Load-balancing cookies — Cookies ensuring consistent routing to our hosting infrastructure. Vendor: Hosting provider. Duration: Session to 24 hours.
3.2 Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website by collecting and reporting information anonymously or in aggregated form. They allow us to measure page views, navigation paths, referral sources and technical performance so we can improve our content and user experience. Analytics cookies are placed only if you click "Accept all" or enable analytics in the customise panel.
- _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics cookies distinguishing unique users and sessions, tracking page views and engagement metrics. Vendor: Google LLC. Duration: _ga: 2 years; _ga_*: 2 years.
- _gid — Google Analytics cookie distinguishing users within a 24-hour period. Vendor: Google LLC. Duration: 24 hours.
- _gat — Google Analytics throttling cookie limiting request rate. Vendor: Google LLC. Duration: 1 minute.
Google Analytics data is processed in accordance with Google's privacy policy. We configure analytics to anonymise IP addresses where supported and do not use analytics data to identify individual learners without separate consent.
3.3 Functional cookies
These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalisation, such as remembering your preferred language, saved pathway interests or display settings. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages. Functional cookies are placed only if you click "Accept all" or enable functional cookies in the customise panel.
- alp_prefs — First-party cookie storing display preferences such as reduced-motion settings or dismissed informational banners. Vendor: AILearnPath. Duration: 90 days.
- Embedded video cookies — When you play embedded educational videos, the hosting platform may set cookies to remember playback position and quality settings. Vendor: Video hosting provider (if applicable). Duration: Varies by provider, typically 6 months to 2 years.
- Font and CDN cookies — Content delivery networks serving fonts or static assets may set technical cookies for performance optimisation. Vendor: Google Fonts / CDN provider. Duration: Session to 1 year.
4. Consent storage period
Your cookie consent preference is recorded in the alp_cookie_consent first-party cookie and retained for six (6) months (180 days) from the date you make your choice. After this period expires, the cookie banner will reappear on your next visit, allowing you to review and update your preferences. This six-month retention aligns with our approach under the PDPA to obtain fresh consent for non-essential data collection at reasonable intervals.
If you clear your browser cookies or use a different browser or device, your previous consent will not carry over and you will be prompted to make a new choice.
5. Legal basis
Under the PDPA, we obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies that collect personal data. Essential cookies are necessary for the operation of our website and do not require separate consent. By continuing to use our website after making a cookie choice, you acknowledge this policy.
6. How to manage or opt out of cookies
You have several options to control cookies on ailearnpath.pro:
6.1 Cookie banner and preferences modal
- Accept all — Enables essential, analytics and functional cookies;
- Reject all — Enables only essential cookies; analytics and functional cookies are not placed;
- Customise — Opens a preferences modal where you can toggle analytics cookies on or off. Essential cookies cannot be disabled.
To change your preferences after your initial choice, clear the alp_cookie_consent cookie in your browser settings and reload the page. The cookie banner will reappear. Alternatively, contact us at [email protected] and we will provide instructions.
6.2 Browser settings
Most web browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings menu. Consult your browser's help documentation for instructions:
- Google Chrome — Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data;
- Mozilla Firefox — Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data;
- Apple Safari — Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data;
- Microsoft Edge — Settings > Cookies and site permissions.
Blocking all cookies may affect website functionality, including form submissions and preference storage.
6.3 Google Analytics opt-out
To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or reject analytics cookies via our banner. You can also visit Google Ad Settings to manage Google's use of data across its services.
6.4 Do Not Track
Our website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. We rely on the cookie consent mechanism described above to honour your privacy preferences.
7. Third-party cookies and links
Some pages may contain links to third-party websites, learning tools or social media platforms. Those sites may set their own cookies when you visit them. AILearnPath does not control third-party cookies and is not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review the cookie and privacy policies of any external site you visit.
8. Updates to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use, our technology stack or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently revised. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on our website. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
