FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about AILearnPath pathways, labs, prerequisites and policies for learners in Singapore. Updated for our 2026 cohort calendar.

Is AILearnPath an income course, get-rich programme or side-hustle training provider?

No. AILearnPath is a vocational AI and machine learning learning academy based in Singapore. We teach structured literacy pathways, practical labs and responsible-AI foundations for curious adult learners. We do not sell income promises, passive-earning schemes, trading strategies, business-opportunity packages or any form of get-rich-quick training. Our curriculum focuses on understanding machine learning concepts, working with data responsibly and building practical skills — not on guaranteeing financial outcomes.

Does AILearnPath guarantee jobs, professional licensure or university degrees?

No. Completion of an AILearnPath pathway results in a certificate of coursework completion that documents modules finished and skills practised. Our certificates are not university degrees, professional licences, government-accredited qualifications or employment guarantees. Hiring decisions rest with employers and depend on your broader experience, portfolio and the role in question. We provide honest career-context guidance during programmes but do not promise placement, salary levels or licensure outcomes.

When you refer to neural networks, do you mean neuroscience or brain science?

No. Throughout AILearnPath materials, references to neural networks, deep learning and related terminology describe computational machine learning models — mathematical architectures implemented in software such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. We do not teach clinical neuroscience, cognitive psychology, medical diagnostics or brain-imaging interpretation. If you are seeking neuroscience education, you should pursue programmes offered by accredited medical or life-science institutions instead.

What prerequisites do I need before enrolling?

Prerequisites vary by pathway module. ALP-101 AI & Machine Learning Foundations assumes comfort with everyday computer use and secondary-school mathematics — no prior coding is required. Python-focused modules (ALP-201) expect basic programming familiarity or completion of our foundations module. Advanced topics such as generative AI projects and the integrated capstone (ALP-601) require completion of earlier pathway modules or equivalent demonstrated experience. We offer a prerequisites assessment session at our Telok Ayer campus to help you choose an appropriate starting point without overstating readiness.

How does AILearnPath handle personal data under the PDPA?

AILearnPath Pte. Ltd. complies with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012. We collect personal data only for enrolment administration, course delivery, learner support and statutory record-keeping. Data is stored on Singapore and Asia-Pacific infrastructure with access limited to authorised staff. You may request access, correction or withdrawal of consent by contacting [email protected]. Withdrawal may affect our ability to continue providing services. Full details appear in our Privacy Policy, last updated 15 July 2026.

What are your programme fees?

Individual pathway modules in 2026 range from approximately S$680 to S$1,480 per module, depending on duration and lab intensity. Workshop-style sessions such as Responsible AI & Ethics (ALP-401) are priced separately. The integrated capstone pathway (ALP-601) is quoted based on prior modules completed. All fees are in Singapore dollars and exclude applicable GST unless stated otherwise on your enrolment invoice. We publish honest scope descriptions alongside pricing — contact our admissions team for a tailored quote rather than assuming bundled discounts.

Should I choose a cohort pathway or self-paced study?

Cohort pathways follow a fixed 2026 schedule with live lab sessions, instructor office hours and peer discussion — ideal if you benefit from structure and accountability. Self-paced access suits learners who need flexible timing but still want module materials and asynchronous lab environments. Cohort places are limited to maintain instructor attention; self-paced learners receive scheduled check-in windows rather than on-demand unlimited tutoring. Neither format guarantees faster mastery — outcomes depend on your prior knowledge and time invested.

How do you teach responsible AI?

Responsible AI is embedded across pathways, not treated as an optional add-on. ALP-401 covers bias awareness, dataset documentation, model limitations, appropriate disclosure and Singapore-relevant governance context. Practical labs include exercises on evaluating model outputs, understanding hallucination risks in large language models and documenting assumptions before deployment. We encourage learners to question use-case fit and to avoid overstating model capabilities in professional settings. This is educational framing — we do not provide legal advice or regulatory certification.

What does the integrated capstone involve?

ALP-601 Integrated AI Literacy Capstone asks learners to synthesise skills from earlier modules into a documented practical project — for example, a small classification pipeline, a prompt-engineering workflow with evaluation notes, or a responsible-AI audit of an existing model use case. You present findings to instructors for structured feedback. The capstone demonstrates applied literacy; it is not a commercial product launch, startup incubator outcome or guaranteed portfolio piece for employment. Prerequisites include completion of at least four prior ALP modules or equivalent assessment approval.

What are your learner support hours?

Our Telok Ayer campus and remote support desk operate Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00 Singapore Time (SGT), excluding Singapore public holidays. Cohort learners can book instructor office hours and lab walkthroughs during published session windows. Email enquiries submitted via our contact form receive a response within one business day during support hours. Urgent technical issues during scheduled live labs are prioritised within four business hours while sessions are in progress.

Do you offer hybrid or in-person delivery?

Yes. AILearnPath delivers hybrid learning in 2026: core lectures and lab walkthroughs are available via secure video for remote learners, while optional in-person sessions run at our 88 Telok Ayer Street campus for cohort groups who prefer face-to-face lab time. You select your preferred attendance mode at enrolment. Hybrid does not reduce prerequisite requirements or assessment standards — remote and in-person learners complete the same module checkpoints. Campus tours are available by appointment through our contact form.

AILearnPath provides vocational AI education for adult learners. We are not a marketing agency, SaaS vendor, IT outsourcing firm or executive-only institute. Certificates document coursework completed — not degrees, licences or employment outcomes.
